Self-Care Challenge: Day 9

I absolutely love dancing. I’ve been doing it since I could walk. Ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, Afro Caribbean I even took Irish step real quick 🤣 (I’m a Boston girl djm lol). Nothing comes close to how confident I feel when I’m dancing. Unfortunately that began to change for me when I started to put on weight in my early teens. Dance can be a shitty world in that way. Dance along with other things, lives at the root of my disordered eating. It’s a paradoxical sort of love for me. Fast forward to adulthood: since losing over 100lbs I’ve been back at it and I’m super excited for tonight! I’m taking dance back! Nothing like a good n’ cheesy 🧀 graphic to show it lol. 🤦🏾‍♀️
